Rural health professionals represent a diverse set of individuals seeking to meet the main goals of public health. Their desire to promote health and prevent disease is blocked by many barriers, due to the geographical position of their target population; yet they still persevere to serve their specified communities. Approximately twenty percent of America is rural, and rural counties are more likely to report fair to poor health. This particular population cannot be compared to its urban counterparts due the sheer amount of obstacles health care providers and patients face. Rural Americans are shaped by geography and tradition which creates a combination of factors that create disparities. Sex Worker Myths There are a variety of myths associated with sex workers. These myths derive from what is shown in the media and from what are being televised in movies and television series. Three of these myths includes, â€Å"the average age of entry into sex work being between 12 and 14, human sex trafficking being the most common form of modern-day slavery, and also â€Å"target the demand† works.† (Scott, 2016) The average age of sex worker recruitment is not limited between the ages of 12 and 14 years. These ages, however, do report a high number of recruitment each year. This is because many young females tend to run away from their homes due to problems in their environment. â€Å"In 2014, The Atlantic and The Washington Post tracked down the source of this erroneous information: a 2001 study from the University of Pennsylvania that looked only at minors. Its okay to have a stretch goal make a living as a writer. But for S.M.A.R.T goals you want to narrow down your focus and make them achievable for you. Setting up steps is a way to make your goals more achievable. Results-oriented Again, your goals must have a result at the end. What are going to have at the end of this? More income? Faster typing? More clients? Time-sensitive Finally, putting a deadline on your goals increases the likelihood you will achieve them. As a new freelance writer, its a good idea to create 3-5 S.M.A.R.T goals. Its okay to create more general goals, but dont avoid using S.M.A.R.T goals to measure your success.
